OpenX is an open source program that controls the ads on your website. It’s a great way to serve the ads to your website and can be a central location for all of your ads on all of your different websites. Multiple ad campaigns from multiple advertisers are possible, along with incredible control over how and when your site visitors see which ads.

There are two OpenX solutions. Installing OpenX on your own server or the hosted OpenX where your ad campaigns are hosted by the OpenX folks on their server. This service is free until you get to 100 million ad impressions a month.

You get access to all three OpenX videos. OpenX is an open source program, but the support is paid. You can receive paid support from OpenX consultants or paid support from OpenX.org. It will be a lot more than what I’m charging. OpenX is free, but that doesn’t mean it’s simple. The installation process is fairly straightforward, the video is a detailed and narrated 14:35 minutes long.
