obama-taking-oathUnlike most of the two million people in DC, I had to work Inauguration Day. President Obama is now our President. He’s my President and I want him to succeed in everything he does because our future depends on him.

I’m not ecstatic about the 8 years of Bush, for several reasons, immigration and the prescription drug program among others. Him and his advisers may not have understood what the end of Saddam would do to Iraq, but they eventually fixed it. His proclaimed conservatism, wasn’t all that conservative.

I don’t remember exactly the Bush inauguration, but I’m pretty sure there weren’t jeers and yelling from the crowd when Clinton came up to speak. The fact that Chaney came out in a wheelchair because he injured his back was hilarious for some reason. The arrogance and guile of these people make me sick. I guess they felt safe to do anything they wanted, just like the mob mentality they represent.

Do as I say

Our new era is starting with, “Do as I say and not as I do” with plenty of exceptions. If you don’t like the rules, change them or make an exception or just ignore them. These are special times and special times require special exceptions. Everything from the President’s Blackberry to a tax cheat in charge of the IRS and the no lobbyiest administration making exceptions for lobbyiest. People that yell the loudest about corruption are usually the most corrupt. Barney Frank is against corruption, with an exception to his own. The people that write the tax code can’t pay their own taxes or think their own rules don’t apply to themselves.

But It’s Not Really Socialism

Isn’t that what has happened in every Socialist, Communist or Marxist system that is supposed to be help common worker? A few elites in control do whatever they want and get away with it while the rules and ethics are for everyone else.

The government already doesn’t listen to the people so why bother? We elected these idiots and we keep electing them and what do we expect. Everyone knew about Obama’s politics and the people around him. Chicago politics brought to Washington, as if Washington needed any help in the corruption and special interest department.

Accountability? We don’t need no stinkin’ accountability!

The people complaining about no oversight during the housing fiasco, now expect us to accept no oversight or accountability when they’re spending money. A trillion dollar pile of money that isn’t supposed to have any pork, but is filled with pork. A pile of money that is supposed to create jobs, that doesn’t create any jobs. And if it does create jobs, those jobs won’t be created for several years.

Microsoft and Intel are laying off thousands and what kinds of jobs does the government want to create? Construction, road and bridge building. How many software engineers from Microsoft are going to be lining up to be on their local road crew?

Obama and his spending plans want a trillion dollars of tax payer money to spend to help the economy. If the government suspended taxes for one year, that would be one trillion dollars. You think letting everyone keep their own money for a year would energize the economy? But that would mean the government couldn’t spend it on what they wanted to spend it on. That would be taking control from a government that only wants more control.

Welcome to the new era.

And since more than a few white people voted for the first black President ever, you thinkĀ  I could stop being called a racist? A good prayer and benediction ruined at the end.
